- Build a direct connection with your market
- Understand the “why” – not just what your market wants, but why.
- Understand the context of a buying decision and when/how they use your product/service (not what you think they do but observe what they actually do…)
- Do regular customer interviews but read between the lines! People don’t really know what they want, just look to understand their frustrations, needs, the context, etc.
- Ask yourself and your customer “how is life better with my product/service?”
